Mike was born to Martha and Clyde Linnertz, of St. Louis. After graduating high school he entered the Marine Corps where he proudly served the United States.
Mike was the proud father of Hillary and Hannah, step father to Dewayne and Laura, and the proud grandpa to Levi, Miranda, Harper, Lucy, and Arthur. He was fondly referred to as “Superstar” by his grandchildren.
In 1999, Mike met the love of his life, Jackie. They spent their time laughing, fishing, line dancing, cooking, and making a lifetime of warm memories together.
Mike is survived by his wife, Jackie, his daughters, Hillary and Hannah, his step children, Dewayne Merritt and Laura Merritt, and his grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret Gierer and Nancy Klein.
While no funeral will be performed, a celebration of life ceremony will be held at a future date and time. Information regarding the celebration of life will be sent later.
