

Michael Patrick Slack, age 66, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and JoAnn (nee Pepers) Slack, and his brother, Scott Slack. Michael is survived by his children, Eva and Simon Slack, and their mother, Dawn. He also leaves behind his nieces, Shannah (Brett) Kinealy and Krista (Bob) Wade, and a nephew, Danny (Alycia) Slack, along with their children: Jack, John, Jocelyn, Mia, Siena, and Leah.
Michael was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan, finding joy and camaraderie in cheering on his favorite team. Fishing brought him solace and serenity, and he had a remarkable talent for crafting guitars, which brought him immense pride and satisfaction. Michael also had a passion for music, especially rock and roll, and had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. He found peace in the simplicity of hiking through scenic trails and embracing the beauty of the natural world. He was a proud St. Louis Carpenter Local Union member for over 25 years.
Though he may no longer walk among us, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
A committal service for Michael will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St Charles Rock Rd, Saint Ann, MO 63074, followed by a memorial service will occur 4:00 PM inside of Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, at the same address, and concluding with a gathering of family and friends until 6:30 PM.
