Mildred Florence Coffey, age 97, of Maryland Heights, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was born July 1, 1926, to Henry Alexander and Florence Mildred (nee: Hunter) Guthier. They have preceded her in death, as have her beloved husband Sanford Coffey, her sons Kenneth and James Dawson, and her four brothers. Mildred is survived by: her children: Diana Dawson, Todd Coffey (Lisa), Kim Chacin (Gabriel); 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mildred loved children, and provided daycare to many families over the years. She loved listening to music, and loved her pets. She loved her family and friends - she was a good friend to many, and was "the best mom one could be".
Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
A visitation for Mildred will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
