Noah Minks, age 15, of Marion, Illinois, passed away on June 14, 2026. He was a young man of extraordinary brilliance, deep curiosity, and quiet resilience, who left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who truly knew him.
Noah possessed an incredibly sharp, analytical mind and a deep, natural love for the outdoors and adventure. Whether he was exploring the vast beauty of nature, embarking on outdoor adventures, or studying science, technology, and the mechanics of everyday things, he was always eager to learn, explore, and master new skills. More than his intellect, Noah was a beloved son, a protective brother, and a deeply cherished member of his family. His presence brought a unique light, structure, and joy to those who walked alongside him.
Noah is survived by his deeply devoted parents: his father, Mark Minks Jr., and his mother, Ambera Minks. He was the proud and protective brother of his three sisters, Patience Minks, Aurora Minks, and Emerie Minks.
He is survived by his loving grandparents:
Angela Padgett and James Padgett (on his father’s side)
Bryan Robinson (on his mother’s side)
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents:
Mark Minks Sr. (on his father’s side)
Jo Ann Lindsey (on his mother’s side)
He leaves behind his beloved aunts and uncles:
Mike Minks, Joey Minks, Lalo Oseguera, Jamie Long, and Brittany Oseguera (on his father’s side)
Crystal Harris, Kimberly Robinson, David Robinson, and Daniel Robinson (on his mother’s side)
Noah’s memory will also be carried on by his 17 loving cousins across both families, as well as his church family and a community of friends, teachers, and military brothers who stood by his family.
