Norbert Kendale Burgess, born on October 16 1946, passed away on March 8th, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frieda and Dale Burgess, and his sister, Sandra Goodwin. Norbert is survived by his sister, Sharon Bernsen; his daughter, Jenny Horne; his grandchildren, Melista Claytor, Takenya Claytor, and Misha Claytor-Shelton; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Norbert proudly served his country in the Navy for 24 years, followed by a long and dedicated career with the Post Office. He was passionate about cooking and cherished spending time with his family. Norbert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, US, on March 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, followed by Graveside Services with Military Honors, at Valhalla Funeral Chapel, Crematory and Cemetery, 7600 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63133, US, on March 13, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
