Richard W. Hendrixson

Richard Willie Hendrixson, 88, born on December 10, 1927 in Arbyrd, MO asleep in Jesus on Thursday, January 7, 2016. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Eph "E.C." and Lucy (nee Mayberry) Hendrixson; his wife, Genetia "Fay" (nee Payne) Hendrixson; brothers, Leonard (surviving Rosie), Danny (surviving Joe Ann), and Billie Hendrixson; and a sister, Olene (Jim) Roberts. He is survived by his son, George (Betty) Hendrixson; grandchildren, Adam (Nicki) Hendrixson, Emily (Sean) Fuszner, and Luke (Kelsey) Hendrixson; great grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyson Fuszner and Taylor and Logan Hendrixson; his brothers, Luther (Bernice) Hendrixson, Travis "Leon" Hendrixson, Gary (Phyllis) Hendrixson, Larry (Patty) Hendrixson, and Darrell (Pam) Hendrixson; and his sister, Barbara (Chuck) Miles.

Mr. Hendrixson served our Lord as a Southern Baptist Minister for 40 years and a truck driver for 30 years. He was a proud member of the Teamsters and served in the United States Air Force following World War II. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.

Friends may visit on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home. Funeral service is at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Dudley presiding. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with well-deserved military honors.
