Richard Henry Johnson (90) of Bridgeton, MO passed away on July 20, 2024. He was born November 11, 1933 in St. Louis, MO to Henry J. and Aletha (Griffith) Johnson. He attended University City High School. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad where he worked as an administrative clerk.
Richard trusted Jesus for the forgiveness of his sins, loved the Lord with all his heart and was forgiving towards others as God was toward him. He and Shiela loved their family, fixing up houses and serving in their churches.
Richard is survived by his wife of 72 years, Shiela L.(Kalbfell); three daughters, Debbie (Jim) Muir, Jan (Rick) Foss, and Lori (Mike) Johnson and son-in-law Don Weber; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; brother Bill Johnson, three nieces and one nephew.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert, daughter Terry Weber, and grandson Jonathan Foss.
Visitation will be at Zion Lutheran Church, 12075 Dorsett Road, Maryland Heights, MO on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral at 10:30 a.m.
