Robert W. Cory (Trailblazer) was born on December 27, 1935 in Berkeley, Missouri and entered into rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Bob was the beloved son of Charlotte Duly and Glen Cory; loving husband of over 53 years to Joann Cory; dear brother of Florence Demel; adoring father to Clark (Marian) Roach of Troy, Missouri, Michael (Terry) Roach of Steelville, Missouri, Robert (Brenda) Cory of Hazelwood, Missouri, Donald Cory of Florissant, Missouri, and Sandra (Jon Engelbrecht) Stacy of Eugene, Missouri; dear brother-in-law to Jack (Jane) Werner; loving grandfather of Kelly, Kristen, Jen, Nicole, Angie, Katrina, Brianna, and Becky and great grandfather of 14 living and 2 deceased; and dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Duly; his father, Glen Cory; his son, Michael Roach; his mother and father in law, Virginia and Clark Werner; and his four brothers, Dewey “Junior”, Clyde, Sonny, and James Cory.

Bob worked hard for the majority of his life, dedicating over 35 years of his life as a Cement Truck Driver for Winter Brothers Material Company. He was the President of the Western CB Club, a charter member of the Moose Lodge in Overland, a member of Teamsters Local #682, and an avid Stock-car racer. Bob also enjoyed camping with his friends and was afforded the opportunity to go camping in many places across the United States. Most importantly, Bob loved to spend time with his family and friends and he will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.

Memorial donations may be made in Bob's name to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

I remember when we was young , Everyone would pack up and go camping all the time. As a family we all had a blast. He was always smiling and he was a good man. He loved camping R.I.P. Love Debi

Uncle Bob always had a smile, I will always remember the times they took us camping (in the bus). We had a good time.
I have a lot of good memories, that include Uncle Bob and Aunt Joann and the family. He will be missed.
