Mr. Knaust was born January 12, 1930 in Wallace, Idaho, a son of Leo W. and Bessie Knaust, nee Manning.
He is also survived by a daughter Lori (Thomas) Merlo, grandsons Mark Raup and Gregory Raup; granddaughters Teresa (Mike) Johnson and Donna Merlo; and a brother Wayne Knaust. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons Jeffery and Mark Knaust, a brother Donald Knaust and sisters Wanda Murphy and Betty Jo Knaust. He was brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to many.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Mo. 63074. Interment of cremated remains with full Military Honors will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
