Robert was born on a farm in South Range Wisconsin. He learned to work in the garden at an early age and loved to grow Cucumbers and Tomatoes. He was mentored by older gentlemen in the neighborhood in the art of hunting and trapping. Bob was a hard worker and would talk about the importance of Education to anyone that would listen.
The Moorhouse family moved to Branson while he was in his late teens where he helped build the family home. With the ongoing Korean War he decided to enlist and was very proud to serve his country as an Army Airborne Paratrooper. After the completion of his duty he ended up in St. Louis and was offered an apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Local 36. In St. Louis he quickly met the love of his life “Pat” where they raised their family.
Bob enjoyed being outdoors, his family and his grandkids. He was very proud of each and everyone one of them.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 10am until time of service at 12 noon at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074.
