Russ Stillman made his transition on Dec. 31, 2013. He was married to Joy, the love of his life, for 58 years. He was an amazing father to Doug Stillman (Julie Applegate), Janice (Tom) Bell and Randy Stillman. He was greatly loved by his grandchildren Lisa, Drew, Sally, Stacie and Ranelle; and great grandchildren Riley, Ruby, Tyson, Zoe and Sadie. Russ was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter-in-law Connie Stillman. He will also be missed by his dear cat, Boots.
Russ served in the Navy in WWII. He was a career letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and was an active member of Unity Church for more than 50 years. Russ was best-known for his warm and friendly spirit. He never met a stranger.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be private.
