He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Frank McDaniel; his mother, Ella Lavell McDaniel; his sister, Tina McDaniel; his brother, Kenneth McDaniel; his daughter, Colleen Ann Tarkington; and his granddaughter, Jaylynn Nicole Billman.
Sammy is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara McDaniel. He leaves behind his daughters, Christine Marie McDaniel and Jessica Lynn McDaniel; his sons, Sammy Bryan McDaniel Jr. Shane Carlton, Chester Carlton, Joshua Pence, and Justin Pence. He is also survived by his brother, Tommy Lynn McDaniel. He was also a loving grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend. He treasured the time he spent with his growing family.
A visitation will be held on November 24, 2025, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, located at 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 12:00 pm. A committal service will take place at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery immediately following the service.
