Shirley Mae Goymerac

Fortified with the sacraments Holy Mother Church, Shirley Mae Goymerac, age 86, of Hazelwood, Missouri passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. She was born March 20, 1937 to the late Daniel and Rose (nee Gutman) Dieckmann. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Goymerac, her brother, Donald Dieckmann, and a brother-in-law, Jack Adolphson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children; Renee (Mark) Bright, and Scott (Nancy) Goymerac. She was a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Shirley also leaves behind a sister, Nadine Adolphson. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Shirley spent her life caring for her family and providing a better life for them. She started her career working for Brown Shoe Company and later with Hazelwood West High School as a clerk. She and Ron had a paper route delivering the North County Journal and the Neighborhood Times, in which everyone in the family contributed to stuffing the papers for delivery. Shirley had many hobbies, such as crafting, sewing, gardening, swimming, and hanging wall paper any chance she could.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. A second visitation will occur Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 615 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, MO 63042, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM.
