Virgil "Bruce" Goodman Sr., age 85, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. He was born in Fulton, Missouri on October 16, 1937 to Virgil and Marian Goodman who have preceded him in death along with his daughter, Dawn, a son, Michael, a grandson, Kris, and a bother, Bill.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Judith (nee Harris), his adoring children; Arlette, Donna, Allana (Russ), Virgil Bruce, Jr. (Tamma), and a brother, Gary. He was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather.
Bruce was an avid fisherman, a golfer, and a bowler. He enjoyed many hours working in his yard. Most of all, he was a family man. Family was important to Bruce, and he adored and loved them very much.
A visitation for Bruce will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Bruce will be laid to rest at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St Charles Rock Rd, Saint Ann, MO 63074.
