Affectionately known to many as a jokester and prankster, William brought joy and mischief wherever he went. His wit and humor lit up every room, and his artistic spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. A devoted St. Louis Blues fan, William could often be found cheering on his team with great passion. He also had a deep love for animals and a special bond with his beloved dog, Maui. His heart for others extended far beyond his family—he was deeply involved in Narcotics Anonymous, where he found strength, community, and the opportunity to help others on their journey to healing. He still made friends till the end.

He is survived by his loving parents, William “Bill” and Barbara Pietrowski (nee Newton); his daughters, Amy (Christiana) Pietrowski and Heidi (Rob Dayton) Pietrowski; his sister, Debbie Seelig (nee Pietrowski); his grandson, Robert Dayton, who lovingly knew him as “Waterboat PaPa”; his niece, Tara (Paul); his nephew, Jeffery Seelig; his great-nephew, Brody; and his loyal companion Maui.
He will be fondly remembered by those who stood by him and helped him in meaningful ways throughout his journey, especially C.K.B.R.J.B.Z.A.I., and others whose support never went unnoticed.
William leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and resilience. He will be remembered not only for his humor and creativity but for the kindness and authenticity that touched the lives of so many.
