Alistair William Bruce

Alistair William Bruce, age 86, of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan passed away on August 21, 2022. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on August 16, 1936, to the proud parents of William and Annie Bruce. Beloved husband of 64 years to Lily Bruce (nee Robbie). Loving father to Lynne Valenzano, Caron (Stephen) Tanghe, and Graeme (Shannon) Bruce. Cherished grandfather to Victoria Paige Bruce, Erica Lynne Bruce, Alessandro “Alex” Valenzano, Nicoletta Lynne Valenzano, Stephen William Tanghe, and Ainsley Rose Tanghe. Great-Grandfather to Jordan and Jesse Bruce and Rosalyn and Anthony Sarb. Alistair was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Hutcheon and her husband Dr. Roy Hutcheon. A friend to many, Alistair could always make you laugh, even in the dreariest situations. He brought happiness to all those around him, even in his final days. The life of the party, always making the best of a bad bunch. Alistair will be missed by many family and friends.
