Alton Paul Polk, age 74, of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Alton F. and Gabrielle Polk.

Alton was a devoted husband of 52 years to Christine Polk; beloved father to Jacqueline (Keith) Damron, Alton (Patricia) Polk and Andrea (James) Borowitz; cherished grandfather to Jacob, Madeline, Alton J., Gabrielle, Natalie, and James; dearest brother to John (Laura) Polk, Claire (Kevin) Green, Ann (Joseph) Pasque, Therese Polk, the late James (Yvonne) Polk, and the late Kenneth (Dianne) Polk.

A visitation for Alton will be held Monday, May 19, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with an evening prayer service at 7:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

An in-state will occur Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00 AM at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 21100 Madison St, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Alton will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
