You were my first introduction to, what is now,  my new family—one filled with warmth, laughter, and something deeply familiar, all because of you. From the very beginning, you were a burst of light—immediately engaging, full of energy and mischief, the kind of presence that made everything feel more alive. Your gregarious nature and love for fun made you unforgettable, and your face quickly became a comfort at every gathering—a signal that joy was near.

You weren’t just entertaining; you were magnetic. There was a spark in you that hinted at something greater—genius wrapped in humor, depth masked by playfulness. You represented everything life should be: spontaneous, loving, centered in family, and unapologetically real. Your emotions weren’t hidden; they were offered freely.

I remember you singing in the back seat during some of the hardest moments—lifting spirits in a way only you could. It was more than distraction; it was your gift—one you gave so generously, even when your own heart might have been heavy. You were always trying to make things better for everyone else.

In the short time I had the honor of being part of this family, I found myself looking forward to every interaction with you. You made people feel welcome, important, and encouraged to be their truest selves. You had this incredible way of bridging distances—between people, between pain and joy, between what was and what could be. That kind of bravery is rare.

The world lost something irreplaceable when you left, but I carry your imprint with deep gratitude. You gave me memories that I’ll hold onto for a lifetime—ones full of laughter, connection, and a real respect for who you were.  I hope wherever you are, your days are filled with your favorite movies, the best songs, and the most epic sports moments—because no one deserves joy more

Andrew & Auntie Candi on Memorial Day gathering!

I think anyone who knew Andrew would agree he was giftedly brilliant and humorous . The one point worth making is how effortlessly it came to him. He never used his gifts or talent to boast. Andrew was just a regular guy. I always admired that about him. It’s a shame we were robbed the satisfaction of seeing him reach his true potential and purpose. Given his attributes the sky was his limit. May he rest in peace with his mother.

Andrew, I will truly miss you. I was so grateful that you included me in your life. You sure were the life of our family! Thank you for always having my back and loving me as your Aunt through the grief of losing Uncle Charlie.  Till we meet again, honey.
