Anita Buckley

Anita grew up in Eastern Ontario, and later moved to Michigan in 1965. She was a hairdresser for over 70 years, owning her own salons and working out of her home both in Canada and Michigan. Anita was a member of the former St. Gertrude Parish. She enjoyed getting together with friends and extended family, knitting for charity, and a good book.

In 1949 she married Frank Buckley; he preceded her in death on October 3, 1986

Survivors include her sons, Rick (Belinda) Buckley, Gary (Joyce) Buckley; her grandchildren, Jason and Megan; her siblings, Fern, Jacqueline, and Raymond. Anita was preceded in death by a son, Brian on December 15, 1995.

Visitation for Anita will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 from 3:00 to 9:00 pm with a 7:00 pm pray service at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave. Instate Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 9:30 am with a 10:00 Mass at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 28301 Little Mack, St. Clair Shores. Donations can be made in Anita’s honor to Capuchin Missions.
