Ann Krictzs

Krictzs, Ann , of St. Clair Shores, age 91 passed away May 18, 2014. Born July 15, 1922 in Gilford, Michigan, daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Follman) Tilger. On April 12, 1947 she was married to Leonard Krictzs of Saginaw, Michigan. He predeceased her November 9, 2006. Mrs. Krictzs and her husband were the former owners of the Nightingale Lounge of Grosse Pointe Woods and The Second Lounge of Saint Clair Shores. Former owners of Wines of The World Liquor Store and The Wine and Liquor Shoppe and family owned Krictzs Grocery in Saginaw. Ann was a superb cook with her home cooking and her holiday dinners. She became a friend to all she met, especially to the Womans’ Club of Saint Lucy Parish of Saint Clair Shores. Ann was a devoted wife, loving mother, wonderful grandmother and special sister. She is survived by son; Gary (Marty) Krictzs, daughter Karen Sartain, grandchildren; Tracey (Ben) Chene, Kara Krictzs, Vanessa Seip, Kacie Krictzs. Great grandchildren; Elyse and William Chene. Memorial will be private.
