When I was struggling around 1990 Art put me to work for awhile. I never forgot the kindness he extended me. A few years ago while I was visiting the Detroit area i was informed that a group of his family were gathering at a local diner and i made a point of stopping by to thank him for that moment in time.

RIP Art

Sorry to hear the news of Art’s passing and sad I will not be available for the memorial mass. Art was
my friend from the frequent visits with him at a local coffee shop. He shared many entertaining stories from his childhood , military service, career and family. He was passionate about life and lived life to the fullest. Most interesting was living as a young boy in war torn Europe and immigration to the US. He loved our country that many take for granted. He was a hard worker in the construction industry. And had a love for traveling and family. I going to miss Art. RIP.
