Barbara Marlene Goulding, age 85, of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023. She was born on July 14, 1938, to parents Charles and Lillian Delor. Loving wife of 62 years to James Goulding. Barbara is survived by her two nephews Jimmy (Barbara) Winterburger, David Bishop, and her cousins Robert Stinean and Roger Mastro. She will be missed by many family and friends.
Barbara was an 8th grade teacher for 20 years at South Lake Middle School, where she taught English and history. She received her degree from Michigan State University. Barbara was a big supporter to her local animal shelters. She was an avid lover of dogs. Barbara was a longtime member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores. She married her longtime love James on July 1, 1961, at St. Joan of Arc. Together they would go on to make many lasting memories.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024, beginning with a gathering at 9:30 am, until time of Mass at 10:00 am, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 22412 Overlake Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080
