Barbara Kanka Plotkowski

Barbara Plotkowski, age 76, passed away in Clinton Township on November 20th. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene; loving mother of Michael (Trish), Suzanne (Larry) Dishman, Patricia, William (Edie), and Robert (Kathy); proud grandmother of Ellen, Stephen, Adam, Jeanine, Alex, Andy, Anna, Lauren, and Julia; and dear sister of Geraldine Marzolf; and her Boston Terrier Spanky. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Victor and Victoria Kanka, and three brothers and one sister. Barbara retired from Kohl’s after 17 years. She also worked at Bishop Gallagher for over 23 years. Barbara was a dedicated volunteer at McLaren-Macomb over 20 years, St. Peter Catholic Church, and Alhambra Galicia #77. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 22, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. with an 8:00 p.m. Scripture Service, and then on Friday, November 23, from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Rosary Service at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores. Visitation will continue Saturday, November 24, at 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 9:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 100 New St, Mount Clemens.
