Barb was the most amazing lady that i got to know while working at that high school,she was always so honest and so genuine she treated my son and daughter so good while attending that school. i always enjoyed walking in there and saying good morning to her I was very fond of her as she treated people with kindness,and love never was nasty to me or anything she was the best thing at that high school I will miss you terribly Barb and thank you for always making me and my kids feel wanted. My heart breaks for all of the Tyrell family. I was a teacher at Lakeview for 17 years and there was not a day that went by that did not include this dear sweet, sassy, charming woman - from pictures of her beloved grandchildren to mounds of M&Ms and  secret treats from her bottom drawer to moments of sage and serious advice. Lakeview will never be able to replace her presence. It was my sincere pleasure to have known Barb.

My prayers go out to Barb's family.  She was a beautiful person with a great smile and sense of humor.  I had the pleasure of working with her at Lakeview and she would always help when I called and needed it.  I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

The first time I had the honor of meeting Momma T was when I was in 4th grade, which was over 30 years ago.  Momma T has watched me grow up.  She worked at LHS when I was a student and she's been there for 3 of my kids.  I also had the honor to work with her as an employee for the past 5 years. As a toddler, you watched over me during the summer and every day was a fun adventure. You made my childhood golden and gave me a plethora of priceless memories. When you passed I could not believe what I was hearing. You were my role model and one of my best friends. Lakeview lost an amazing secretary and our family lost an amazing member. Rest in peace, grandma. Even though you didn't have a chance to retire, you can finally rest easy now.

Mom, where do I start? You are my rock, my confidon, my best friend. What am I going to do without you? I'm crushed. We have an amazing bond that can never be broken.  I know your around me, I can feel your love. I would give anything for just one more hug, one more laugh. I will do my best to always make you proud, and to teach my boys as you have taught me. I just want to let her family know that I loved Barb.  She made me laugh every time I saw her in the office at school, and seemed like she just *knew* if I was having a bad day and needed some of her wit.  She was fiesty and I loved talking with her.  My favorite was the facial expressions and eye rolls she would give me to let me know she "got" me.  To me, your wife, mom, sister, aunt, grandmother was a real gem and I am so sorry she is gone.

Barb was always so good to Lakeview High School educators and students. Her good humor, smile, and kindness will always be remembered.
