Bette Ehrler

Bette V. Ehrler, age 90, a 55 year resident of St. Clair Shores, passed away on February 23rd at the Church of Christ Care Center in Clinton Township. She was born on May 5, 1921 in St. Catherine’s. Ontario. Mrs. Ehrler volunteered at the Ardmore Library and Cottage Hospital and retired after working as a librarian for Lakeview School District for over 15 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur. She is survived by her children Gloria, Linda Freund, Paul (Diane) and Mark (Nancy), grandchildren Eric and Jessica Ehrler, step grandchildren Brian (Cherie), Patrick (Allison) and Shannon Wild, several great grandchildren,many loving nieces and nephews. Sister of Norma Dugelar and the late Tom and Ernest Wallace. She is also survived by her special friend Pauline Dowe. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Visitation Sunday 3-9pm. Memorials may be directed to the Great Lakes Hospice Foundation or The Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
