I just learned of Brian's passing, and am truly devastated.  Brian and I lived next door to each other as children in Rochester.  He was my best friend.  We watched those campy movies on Channel 7 after school (saw EVERY "Planet of the Apes" movie), rode that stupid little red dirt bike around the back yard, and Brian was the reason for the one and only grounding I ever received from my parents...all I can say is Ivory soap on window screens...!  I truly loved him.  I remember Chuck's motorcycle accident, and his grandparents living across the street!  I also learned today that Brian lived and had a business in Harrison Township...ironic...as that is where I live...never knew this.  Our birthdays were 10 days apart, and I often thought of him in June, and every weekend, as my parents still live in the house I grew up in, so I drive past Brian's house every weekend.  My condolences to Pat, Chuck, Raymond, and also to his wife and children.

Carol, I cannot express the sorrow that I feel for you and your precious children! Brian, as I remember him, was such a soft spoken, kind and gentle man. I have so many fond memories of you two when we would go to Nan and Papa's to visit. I will never forget those precious memories we had! Brian Reliford is a cousin of mine. I have alot of fond childhood memories of him and his brothers Chuck and Raymond. We lived a far distance from each other, with our hometown in Missouri and theirs in Michigan. Our families would get to see each other usually only in the summers or maybe Christmas time. When we became adults the visits became few and far between. It has been years since we visited with Brian, but we still loved him dearly.
