Byron Dettloff, age 90, died September 30, 2012. Beloved husband of Genevieve. Loving father of Dianne (David) Gilin, Steven (Kathryn), and Nancy (Normand) Frechette. Dearest grandfather of Daniel, Katlyn, Alan, Ryan, Nicholas and Aimee. Dear brother of the late Carlton (the late Betty) Dettloff. Byron was a member of the UAW and retired from Chrysler after 32 years of dedicated service. Visitation Wednesday 3-8 pm with a Scripture service at 7 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Instate Thursday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 am at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 21100 Madison, St. Clair Shores. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan or the Alzheimer’s Association.
