Carol Sue Nelson

NELSON, Carol passed away December 28, 2014. She is survived by her loving daughter Lori (Dominick pre-deceased), loving son, John E. Nelson, Jr. [Jay]. Grandchildren, John E. Nelson, III; Christine Carol Nelson; and Makayla E. Gricius. Great grandchildren, John E. Nelson, IV and Sophie Nelson. Her loving sister, Joyce Whitney pre-deceased her. She is survived also by her three brothers Thomas and Jane Werkema, Milton and Carolyn Werkema and Douglas and Marcia Werkema. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, lived in Detroit, completed some college at Calvin College and lived the majority of her life in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She loved her church families - - beginning at Grosse Pointe Christian Reformed Church, Christ Fellowship Church and Knox Presbyterian Church. She loved her family, her heritage, angels and our Lord.
