Hello Carter Family;

I was looking up Uncle Chucks address to send him a Christmas card and found this obit. My sympathies and prayers. He was a lot of fun and a great guy. I remember the old times we had with Mona and my Parents June and Fred growing up. Look me up some time. Steve Hattey 248 787 9139.

To Chuck, Lynn and Jennifer. I was saddened to hear of your Fathers's passing. He was like a second Father to me. He always had a look or a comment on what we were doing when we growing up. My GOD Bless you all.

To our dear friends, the Carters, in sympathy,
Chuck was such a larger- than- life presence in our Francis street neighborhood. I can still hear him calling out to my Dad, and my Dad calling back, "Hey, Neighb!" over the backyard fence. Sleepovers with Dail were an especially fun time with the Carter family...and how he always called me, "Funny face"...so many memories! He was a good, good man, and I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in eternal peace and love.

My prayers are with the Carter family. When Mr. Carter  visited the office ( Dr. Joseph ) he always left us happier...Thank you, Mr.Carter...I am praying for strength for the family for the days ahead.

I feel very honored to have worked with "Carter" as we always referred to him, he brought laughter to all of us at CFC.  He was my boss, over 30 years ago.  A great boss, a great man.
