Charlie C. Neisz

Charlie C. Neisz, age 93, passed away on June 30, 2021. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Dolores. Charlie is survived by his loving children: Darliss Wills, Brenda Neisz, Charles Neisz, Marjorie (Jack Taylor) Neisz-Taylor, Glenda (Paul) Lavigne, David Neisz; dear grandchildren: Deborah Ann, Keith, Melissa, Michael, Michelle, Brett, Andrew, Jacqueline, Angela, James, Stacey, Leia, Paul, JoEllen, David; 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; and brother: David (Linda) Neisz. Charlie came up to Detroit at the age of 12 from Kentucky, he started working doing miscellaneous jobs until he found his niche selling ice. Now known around Detroit as the Iceman, he worked until he was 87 years old. Visitation, Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral service, Friday, July 9, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East following the service.
