Cherie L. Wingard, age 80, passed away January 29, 2016. Beloved wife of Charles for 50+ years. Cherie graduated from Ligget School. She was also a graduate of Port Huron Jr. College, where she earned her degree in nursing. Cherie worked as a registered nurse for 45 years in area hospitals and clinics. She was involved in many groups including; the St. Clair Shores Community Players, Women’s Civic League, St. Clair Shores and Grosse Pointe’s Community Chorus, St. Clair Shores Parade Council, Crime Stoppers of Michigan. She was a devoted member of Lake Shore Church and was involved with the food pantry their health team and their choir. Visitation Thursday, February 4, 2015 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
