Christopher Tafoya age 51, passed away in his home in Detroit on July 14, 2014. Christopher is the beloved son of Carmelita and the late Theodore E. He is the brother of Mary and Theresa and father of Austin, Sarah, and Luke. Christopher is also survived by his Favorite uncle Jerry Powers and aunt Betty, Uncle Gordon Powers, Aunt Dorothy Longhouse, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog Izzy. To honor Christopher's memory in lieu of flowers please do an act of kindness to an animal shelter, or the Cappuchins. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. in state at St. Lucy Catholic Church 23401 Jefferson Avenue, St Clair Shores, MI 48080.
