Colleen was a talented hairdresser for many years, a devoted Catholic, and known for her ability to brighten any room with her good spirit and humor. She had a passion for painting, ceramics, cooking, and baking. Colleen also enjoyed crocheting. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, whether it was dining out, shopping, or simply being together.
Colleen is the loving mother to Denise Hubbs and the late Deborah Harris. She is the cherished grandmother to Garrett Hubbs, and his spouse, Natalia Hubbs, Hannah Verhoeckx, and Sarah Harris. Great-grandmother to Gideon Verhoeckx, Amatis Verhoeckx, and Elijah Verhoeckx.
Colleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles E. Drogosch, whom she was married to for over 20 years, as well as her siblings Lucille Peck, Myles Brady Jr., Maryann Brady, Frances Kewish, Alice Faircloth, Margaret Krim, and Edward Brady. Colleen will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.
Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. (Instate 10:00 a.m.) at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church 21201 E. Thirteen Mile Road, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48082.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, or your favorite charity.
