David Torrence Carlsen

Carlsen, David T “Coach Dave”, age 70 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan died April 6, 2018. He was born January 2, 1948 to the late Edward (Elsie) Carlsen of Detroit, Michigan. David graduated from Lakeview High School in 1967. He married the beloved Raquel Carlsen and they have been together for 44 years. David is the loving father of Bonita (John) Leone and Lance Carlsen. He is the cherished grandfather of Rocco, Gina and Enza Leone. David is the dear brother of Eila (the late Angelo) Resvanis, nephew Alan Booker and cousin of William (Rose) Rinn, John Buhrie, and Wally (Marty) Buhrie. David will be missed by the Carlsen and Flotkjaer family members, his good friend Gene (Gerry) Kacanowski and all those who touched his life through coaching. David will lie In-State on Wednesday April 11, 2018, beginning at 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, at St, Lucy Catholic Church 23401 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
