David Fleming, age 71, passed away on January 12, 2022. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 21, 1950 to his late parents Harry and Alma Fleming. David is survived by his loving wife: Lani; dear sons: Fielden, Alex; sister: Judy Varga; and his nieces and nephews. He was a high school teacher, United Methodist Pastor, a Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla Commander and a Coast Guard Chaplin in both St. Clair Shores and on the USCGC Mackinaw. Visitation, Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Internment will take place at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit immediately following the services.
