David Earle Kursinsky

David Earle Kursinsky, age 79, passed away on July 21, 2026. He was born in Bad Axe, Michigan on June 19, 1947 to his late parents Earle and Isabel Kursinsky. David is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Carolyn; loving children: Debbie (Dale) Deaton, Cheri (Mike) Marshall, Kurt (Sherry) Kirchner, Kristi (Rich) Lawrence, Heather (Pat) Faretta; caring grandchildren: Amanda, Maria (Kayla), Charles (Jasmine), Megan (Tommy), Devin (Grace), David (Alexis), Tony, Clint (Asia), Mackenzie, Alexandria, Gabriella; dear great-grandchildren: Isabella, Oliver, August, Michael, Lovely, one on the way; siblings: Duane (the late Wanda), Jean (Richard) Lockard, Lowell, and Lorna (Steve) Pickett. Also left to cherish his memory are many loving extended family and friends. David was a member and treasurer of DAV Chapter 129. He was a man of faith and kept strong until the end. David also enjoyed tractor pulling. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the DAV Chapter 129 or Redeemer Lutheran Church. Funeral Service, Saturday, July 25, 2026 11:00 a.m. (gathering 10:00 a.m.) at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 30003 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
