Dennis Wayne Houser

Dennis Wayne Houser, age 72, passed away October 25, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie; beloved children: Katherine Houser and Lori (Steve) Houser Piekutowski; dear grandchildren: Myranda Lamos, Tyffany Lamos, Tyler Lamos; great-grandchildren: Milania Nostrant, Braxton Nostrant; sister, Janice (Steve) Barbane; niece, Kristine Hollister. Also left to cherish his memory are his many dear friends who have provided much love, comfort and support during this difficult time. Dennis was the Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 119, a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Combat Wounded Veterans Macomb County Chapter 1818 and the former Commander of VFW 1146 Bruce Post. Dennis was honored to be chosen as the Grand Marshall of the 2015 St Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade and was honored by Macomb County in 2013 with a Volunteer of the Year award. Dennis will forever be remembered for his kind and compassionate spirit and the immeasurable amount of love he had for his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 119 would be appreciated to continue providing care and support to those that Dennis was so deeply passionate about.
