Dennis R. Sellers, age 81, passed away on December 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruth Sellers. Dennis is survived by his loving children: Lawrence McAlpine, Kathleen (Martin) Christine, Eric Sellers, Nicole (David) Lindsay; caring grandchildren: Daniel, David, Christopher, Christina, Alyssa, Lucian, Lilianna, Levi; 14 dear great-grandchildren; and sister: Debbie (Jerry) Hnidy.
He was a devoted husband who spent his life providing for and caring for his wife. Her well-being was always his priority, and he showed his love through steadfast support, hard work, and quiet acts of devotion.
He proudly served in the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War, a foundation that shaped his strong work ethic, discipline, and commitment to service. A mechanical engineer by trade and a craftsman at heart, he loved boating and found joy in working with his hands, especially when a project needed to be built or a problem needed solving. Whenever someone needed help, he would drop everything—drawing up plans, carefully measuring, and lending his expertise to ensure the work was done right. His dedication to craftsmanship, generosity with his time, and willingness to help others will be remembered as defining parts of who he was.
Above all, he cherished being a father and grandfather. He took great pride in spending time with his grandchildren and was always ready to lend a hand whenever needed. Whether offering support, sharing a laugh, or happily watching over his “grand-cats” and “grand-dogs,” he embraced every role with love and dedication. His presence brought comfort, reliability, and joy to his family, and his devotion as a father and grandfather will be deeply missed.
