Doris Elaine Lathrop

Doris Elaine Lathrop, age 81, passed away on February 23, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Carl Edward Lathrop. Doris is survived by her beloved partner of 20 years, Frank Watson; loving children: Dawn Apley, Pam (Rick) Pierson, Connie (Richard) Basso, Fred (Rachel) Lathrop; dear grandchildren: Gail, Elaine, Debbie, Andrew, Teresa, Richard Jr, Gentry, Lincoln, Logan; great-grandchildren: Cody, Ashley, Ethan, MacKenzie, Addison, Emmilynn, Greyson, Ashton, Kayden, Kolton; fur babies: Toby, Snowy; sister: Joyce Brown; and brother and sister-in-law: Larry (Donya) Lathrop and Nancy Hinkelman. Also left to cherish her memory are many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Doris loved camping and devoted her life to her family and friends. Visitation, Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral service, Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. (Gathering 10:00 a.m.) at Metropolitan Church of the Nazarene, 18945 Frazho, Roseville.
