Eleanor J. Standaert, age 87, passed away January 3, 2015 in Detroit, Michigan. Eleanor was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 1, 1927 to Genaro and Anna (nee: Mazzella) Coppa. Mrs. Standaert was very talented with creating beautiful craftwork with Belgium lace.
She was beloved wife of Raymond Standaert for 49 years. Loving mother of Carol (Robert) Danset, Margaretann (Terry) Dunn, Michael (Tamara) Finazzo, Joseph (Kathy) Finazzo, Vince (Amy) Finazzo and Robert (Debbie) Finazzo and step-mother of Fred (Gloria) Standaert and Leona (Leonard) Cross. Proud grandmother, step-grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to many.
Friends may visit Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 3:00 -9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Avenue St. Clair Shores. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Please share a memory with the family at her online guest book.
