Ernest “Archie” Lee Archibald, age 79, passed away on July 26, 2023. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 11, 1944 to his dear parents Ernest and Janet Archibald. Archie is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia; loving children: Tracey (Jim) Henkel, Jill (Rick) Romatz, Shelly (Gary) Schroka; dear grandchildren: Brett (Amanda), Todd, Shelby (Zach), Jillian, Brendan, Noah, Kylee; great-grandchildren: Raven, Rory; and brother: Dale (Kathy). Also left to cherish his memory are many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Archie loved boating and was very involved in the North Channel Yacht Club. He was the president of the Ancient Mariners for 10 years. Archie was also very patriotic and was stationed in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Disabled Veterans of America. Visitation, Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral service, Monday, July 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with a gathering beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Twp, Michigan.
