Evelyn I. Vercruysse, age 97, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on December 30, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1925, to the parents of Albert and Elodie Feys. She was the beloved wife to the late Oscar Vercruysse. Dear mother to Ronald (Gidget Stade-Vercruysse), Karen (Dale) Verhaeghe and the late Roger. Dear grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Evelyn belonged to the Belgian-American Auxiliary Club. She was very involved with the Belgiam-American Band. Evelyn was a great seamstress and was famous for making beautiful Halloween costumes and Christmas stockings. She was very creative. Evelyn genuinely loved her family and took the best care of everyone.
Private family services will be held.
Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery next to her beloved husband Oscar.
