Florence Margaret Horetski

Florence Margaret Horetski, age 97, passed away on August 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Three Rivers, Michigan on December 31, 1924 to her late parents David and Christina Page. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry and daughter Shirley Canter. Florence is survived by her loving children: Roy (Sharon Funicelli), JoAnne Toupin, Ronald, James; dear grandchildren: Paula, the late Michelle, Laura (Ihab), Nancy, Tina, Sherry, Shelly, Suzanne, Wayne, Bill (Lisa), Richard, Kristi (Ken), April; great-grandchildren: Victoria, Courtney, Douglas, Ashlyn, Christopher, Evan, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Abigail, Evelyn, Felix, Christopher, Isabelle, Zachary; and siblings: Joseph (Gladys) Page, Marion (Francis) Mazure, Bertha (the late Fred) Kramer, Rita Clor, and Rosanne (Craig) Lawson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Raymond Page, Romanus Page, Clarence Page, Leroy Page, George Page, Lillian Cove, Margaret Carson, and Marcella Page. Florence’s faith was very important to her and she enjoyed attending mass. She enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening and yard work, and cooking for her family. Florence loved taking her daily walks and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed Christmas wrapping paper fights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Visitation, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral Mass, Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. (Instate 9:30 a.m.) at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 28301 Little Mack Ave., St. Clair Shores.
