Well dad it is the 31st and I'm gonna try to send you a message since this was supposed to close yesterday. It's about 4:59AM I'm at work for couple more hours. Next year at this time I will hopefully be able to say I'm retired. I don't know what I will do with myself. Again everyone is doing ok. The twins are home now and doing good. Hi Dad. I just wanted to tell you again how very much I love & miss you everyday.  It's still so hard to believe you've been gone a year already.  Everyone here is doing fine. We are with our friends in Boyne Falls for 
the week.  We went to Charlevoix where you and mom used to visit your friend from work. We also went to the docks in Petosky and Bay Harbor where you loved to watch the boats.  It was a beautiful day. You would of loved it. We're making plans to spend some time with Uncle Paul's family & Aunt Rose's girls during the holidays. We just love hearing all the stories he tells about when you two when you were young. All your grandchildren & great grandchildren are doing great. I have lunch with Audrey every couple of weeks. It's nice to catch up and hear about the boys. They're getting so big. We've had a couple of health scares this year but thankfully every thing turned out for the best. Please keep a watch on all of us especially the ones that are going through rough times right now.  It's nice to know we all have a special angel to keep us safe.  Give Mom & Butch hugs from all of us.  You're always in my thoughts.  We will see you again someday.

Well Grandpa as you already know Derek and Caden are here. They are beautiful and already have their Dad wrapped around their tiny fingers. I went by the house the other day and wanted to pull in the driveway and go inside to see how you where but knew I couldn't becauae your not there anymore. Everyone is doing good. Ethan and Addy are getting so big and talking so much. 

Zach is in middle school this year and really liking it. Sarah is starting college in January and has been a Mgr at her job for almost a year now. She's grown up so much since she had Addy, I'm so proud of her for all that she has accomplished amidst all the obstacles she had.

Sami is doing good shes going to college full time and working at Kmart still, but looking for something else. 

Kayla is done at Dorsey and starting Macomb in January to continue her dreams. She is a great Mom and her and Steve are very happy.

Ethan went to the cardiologist last week and we got some upsetting news. News we knew was coming but still your never prepared.  He may have to go to the cat lab at his next appt or sooner because there have been some changes with his heart. The doctor also said that he will have to have a valve replacement in the future also, but that depends on his growth and the leaking in his heart. But I know we'll all get through it with you watching out for us.

I'm doing OK most days. It's hard being a single Mom and trying to take care of everyone and everything  while holding it all together so no one sees. But I'm trying to take one day at a time and live life.  Till we see you again...love and miss you!

Hi dad well this is the last time I can put words on paper. I miss you so much. Tomorrow your guest book closes but I will still talk to you daily as we have been doing. Yesterday you got 2 more great grand kids. Daniel and Tracy had their twin boys. Derek and Caden they are just beautiful. Wish you could of seen them. Ethan and Addy are getting so big. So glad you were part of their lives. I can remember you just glowing when Kayla brought him home and the first time you seen Addy. Everyone is also doing ok.  Keep an eye on all of us. Well I guess this will be my last post as the book will close on the 30th. It has been hard not to be able to speak with you in person. I know you are at peace with your wife and Butch by your side.. and Boomer too!

I am in the process of making peace with myself as well, I have learned to take each day as it comes, and not to worry so much.. as things have way of working out.

The boys are doing well, and keeping busy with school and various other things. It is hard to believe how much they have grown into young men. Keith will be off to college next year! Kevin is doing great in band and is so very good at playing the Sax! Matthew just turned "13", no more babies in our house..

I will miss all of our talks, and the advice you had to offer whenever I needed to hear it.

I know some day we will see you again, please watch over us, and we will continue to think of you.

Well, we are nearing a time when we will no longer be able to put these posts on this wall to you. I talk to you every day but this is a nice way to share our thoughts and feelings, I'll admit I never thought I'd use it but I am happy that I have. 

I feel your arms surround me at times - in my happy times and in times of great need - I know that you walk with me through my days and keep your loving eyes upon me and mine. We feel you in the wind, in the warmth of the sun, in a cool breeze, a laugh, a smile that sparkles just like yours -- we all have had moments this past year where we feel that you are near. Your love for me will always be one of my most comforting memories...

I have not been to your grave since that day, I do not believe that you are there and I cannot bring myself to walk down that road right now. I know that people will read that and think poorly of me but you know me and I've never been one to worry so much about things like that, I am like you in that way. 

My kids are doing so good, every one of them would make you so very proud.  We speak of you often and grandma...I've been trying to find the time to get together with Audrey and the boys, we all are just so very busy with life..it is important though and we are going to make it happen soon. Other than that I've been at my new job one year today - seems like yesterday honestly when everything happened...time is flying by, moving so fast - we have to make it count because we cannot get it back. Every day you influence our lives, every day we think and speak of you..I love you with all of my heart <3

Hey you, I refuse to even think about our first father's day without you ugh - we spent the day together, everyone trying to enjoy themselves, food and fun, Brendan may have broken his toe on Jim's trampoline....never a dull moment.  Missing you, I cannot bring myself to drive by your house - too many sad memories still crowding the happy ones for now. Things are busy, Brendan is playing baseball, he has 3 games just this week alone. You know he loves his sports :) 
Claire made the varsity dance team, got a 4.0 on her report card and has a babysitting job for extra money.  That girl amazes me every day with her drive and determination. Heather is working hard at her job, going to school even during the summer and just bought her 1st car on her own. Its a Ford, not sure how you'd feel about that!! They all make me very proud! 
I keep your picture on my visor in my car and know that you send your blessings every day. I drive past your exit on 696 and it gets a little easier week after week. I miss ya though, some days are worse than others. Now on to the bad...Our family is facing one of the biggest health obstacles in recent memory and I sure hope you have a straight line to the big guy cause we sure do need some intervention. Keep your eye on us as we face the next few weeks, we love ya - big kiss <3

Dad it's been two months now I miss you so much and love you.

It has been over 8 years since Uncle Frank and I sat alone in his kitchen for several hours visiting, one on one. We shared many hilarious Hrebec family secrets and each others military war experiences, his in Europe, mine in Vietnam with the Marines. He had placed a vintage metal cake can on the table in front of me. After we enjoyed a beer or two, he opened it, inside were his WWII U.S. Army awards, decorations, ribbons, medals and news clippings. It is a memory I will cherish forever. Except for his many accordian polka music fests and taking a cruise on his teal Harley though Rambel Town, I place those moments as most golden. God Bless you Frank and I hope you are playing polkas for everyone in Heaven. You are dearly missed.
