Gail Ann Conant our precious angel and wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend went to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on October 17, 2023. Gail was born in Detroit on December 31, 1950 and was raised and lived in St. Clair Shores, MI for 45 years. She was a 2nd generation graduate of South Lake High School in 1969.
She later moved to her new home in Chesterfield, MI in 1997.
Gail was an active and fun loving lady who enjoyed, sewing, crafting, home decorating, restoring, camping, and planting her flower garden. However her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family whom she adored.
She also was a Manager in retail for years and a dental coordinator for over 20 years.
Though stymied by her health in her later years, she continued her courageous battle to attend and host family functions and to go on her adventures with her adoring husband, Mark.

She is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Mark for 42 years, children: David (Tina) Schatzberg, Mark Conant Jr, Heather (Danny) Schultz and Kelly (Gene) Robinson, and her beloved grandchildren: Noah, Jacob, Brock, Kayla, and Brody.
She was preceded in death by her father, Galen Aurand, mother, Anna Gutenberg, and her brother, Glenn Aurand.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. A short service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with a gathering beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
