Gary Lawrence Doucette, age 85, passed away on June 12, 2025. He was born in Au Train, Michigan on February 12, 1940 to his late parents Lloyd and Elsie Doucette. Gary grew up in Munising, Michigan where he lived across the street from his beloved wife of 54 years, the late Beverly. He is survived by his loving children: Lynn, Teri (Mark) Muszynski, Roxanne (Joseph) Burnie and dear grandchildren: Nikki, Jessica, Lauren, and the late Ava. Gary was also preceded in death by his siblings: Dona, Clyde, Sheldon, Neil, and Darryl. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing euchre. Gary was an avid member of the senior center and enjoyed playing bocce ball. He had many friends and was a second father to many in the neighborhood. Above all he was an excellent hands on father and grandfather. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
