Glenn R. Stascuk, age 70, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his son, Neil (Jennifer) Stascuk, grandchildren Kayla (Max Stress) Kretschmer, Kyle (Natalia Ruperd) Kretschmer, and Cole (Mary Dennis) Stascuk. He also leaves behind his “girls” (Chihuahuas) Diamond, Ruby and Jewel.

Glenn’s first job at 15 years old at Klein’s Gas Station led him to a career as a diesel mechanic. It also led to his passion for classic cars, especially corvettes.

Glenn retired from AT&T in 2012. He enjoyed restoring his classic cars, taking leisurely drives, attending classic car shows and spending time at McGee’s with his friends. He especially loved attending his grandchildren’s’ events and family gatherings.

Glenn was a proud veteran of the Army. He served in Vietnam and was extremely proud of his granddaughter, Kayla who also served in the Army. Glenn was a very private, quiet and humble man, but always a call away if you needed anything.

A visitation in Glenn’s honor will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm with military honors at 7:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI 48081. Glenn will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.

There are no words to express how grateful we are to have known Glenn and his beautiful family - not only as our neighbors but our friends. His passion for collectible cars formed that special bond between us and we will forever miss seeing him parade his beautiful cars one by one each down the street early every morning - it always put a smile on our faces and we knew it was "going to be a good day!" - he was a sweet man who raised a incredible son not to mention his extended family, daughter in law and grandchildren who we love dearly. Glenn wlll forever live on in our hearts and we will cherish the memories we made with him. As he so elequently put it "we are not here for a long time, just here for a good time." RIP my friend -

To my beloved father in law , oh how you will be missed. Everything seems so quiet without you here. Even though you weren’t loud something already feels like it’s missing. These last 5 months it was my pleasure helping take care of you, the way you handled your diagnosis, how open & honest you were to Neil & I and you still kept a sense of humor. As time past we developed a deeper bond & love for eachother . I will Cherish my time spent with you always . You are a special part of my heart. Thank you for being YOU ! Love you Jenny
