Helen Skalecki

February 26, 1916 – March 2, 2012

Helen passed away in her home with loving family at her side. She was an active sales lady of her 96 years, from Sky’s Sport Shop with her husband, to top sales lady in Revoln Cosmetics in the 50’s. She worked for Stanley Home Products until her death. Helen will be missed by her son John (JoAnn) of Harrison Twp.; five grandchildren, John (Karen), Michael (Lori), Steven (Deana), Cheryl (Patrick) Haggerty and Kevin Skalecki; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by husband of 54 years, John C. Skalecki and husband of 12 years Zygmunt W. Szyszkowski. Visitation Monday, March 5, 3 – 8 pm, with a 3:30 pm rosary, at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Helen will lie instate Tuesday from 10:30 am until time of Mass, 11 am at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 38775 Prentiss St., Harrison Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Hospice or Share a Smile.
