Hendrick Willem Rivard

Hendrick Willem Rivard, age 88, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Hendrick was born on July 28, 1936 in Royal Oak, Michigan to parents George and Clara Rivard. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Virginia Rivard. Father to; Sean (Teresa) Rivard, Gregory (Chin) Rivard, Virginia (Michael) Matheson, Kathleen (Thomas) Keenan, and David (Hillary) Rivard. Cherished grandfather to Justin (Hillary) Rivard, Allyson Rivard, Kyle Rivard, Samuel Rivard, Amy Ellis, Lily Matheson, Sophia Matheson, Ginny (Zachery) Gillen, Thomas Keenan, Michael Keenan, Michael Rivard, Hadley Rivard, and David Rivard. Great-Grandfather to Declan and Finley Gillen. Dear brother to Thomas (Linda) Rivard. Hendrick was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Rick loved spending time with his family and friends. His sense of humor brightened up the room and made people laugh. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral Mass will take place on June 6th, at 10 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 157 Lake Shore Road, Grosse Pointe, Michigan 48236

Hendrick will be laid to rest in St. Paul Catholic Church, 157 Lake Shore Road, Grosse Pointe, MI 48236.
