Harry popped into my head last week and so I set out to find him to say, hi. He was a sailing buddy back in the 1970's when I lived in the Detroit area. As many have posted already, he was a terrific person in all ways. So sorry to hear of his passing. I knew Michael when he was just a boy and thought he'd grow up to be a special man - just like his dad. Have not thought about Harry and Michael for years and years - funny that they should pop into my head last week. Tragic to hear of Harry's passing. May all of you know that he was a unique, loving man with generosity and kindness deep in his sole.

Although I have not had opportunity to meet with Harry in his later years, I do have fond memories.  He, Dominic and myself used to hang together during our teenage years at Long Lake in Lake Orion.  Just as Harry, I began my love for sailing back then when the 3 of us used to go out my neighbors small sailboat to learn to sail.  And, just as Harry, I continue to sail in my later years.  My biggest regret is that I delayed the offer to come up from Alabama to go out sailing and reminiscing with Harry and Dominic.  He will be missed.

We're all gonna miss Uncle Harry, so many great memories of 'The Proud Mary' and countless other 'fun stuff', Thanks Uncle Harry for showing us a "helluva good time". Love Kevin.

I can say he was a joy to work for and had quite a sense of humor. Dear Pat, Michael and Tyler, I loved Harry as a dear friend that he was. We met back in the 70's and with another friend we called ourselves the 3 musketeers.  Party we did and many found memories, the top of Ren Cen, Sinbads, boating, Harpers slide and closing Tiger Stadium.  He was a fine gentleman and friend. Harry and I have been working together on pneumatic tube systems since 1992.  He was a great guy to work with, fair, friendly, and a great personality.  I will truly miss working with Harry.  My sincerest condolences to his family and friends on his sudden departure.

Harry and I grew up together. We lived across the street from one another on longview in Detroit. Harry and his family were always fun to be with. I share many memories with Harry and our buddies from grade school to college and beyond. One of the most fun places was the Colombo cottage in Lake Orion. Great parties and friendships. When Harry and Dennis Devlin lived together at the cottage they would come over to our house in Rochester to wash their clothes. My wife Kathy would usually end up doing their laundry and we all enjoyed the evening. There are so many wonderful Harry memories and Kathy and I hope that Pat, Michael and Tyler will forever have their special Harry memories.
Kathy and I will miss Harry and forever keep him in our prayers. We know that he is now sailing in a better place with his old friends having a good time. God bless.

I did not know him well.  We only talked a couple times over the phone.  But what I did hear of him was nothing but positive comments and how everyone always enjoyed his company.  My dad Mark Sr Owns PTP and we have worked with Colombo a few times over the years.  He was a good person who wanted nothing, but to do great work and to keep his company thriving.  He will be missed.  My condolences to his loved ones.

as Harry's CPA I have known him for a number of years thru good times and not so good times. He  was always a class gentleman and always put himself last. There are not many like him. He loved his business , family  and boating. please accept our condolences.

Harry was one of the "good guys".  Always quick with a smile . Harry, you were there with a beer in your hand for me...anytime!  When you greeted my wife Mary, you always made her smile (see pic attached).  Although we didn't rub shoulders often, it was clear to us that my sister Patty was blessed to have you as her partner in life.  Me being a land lubber interested in old cars and you a lover of the water and everything boating...you would think there would be no common ground.  NOT TRUE!  Harry always engaged me and showed genuine interest in my old car passion.  Simply put, Harry you were the real deal!.   

You are and will be missed dearly!  God Bless you and your family!

Ihad never met Harry, however I have enjoyed the many conversation we had over the last 12 or so years . My condolences to all of his family & friends. We had occation of speaking no more than 3 weeks ago,& enjoyed reading his email , I saw how passionate he was of his work.& I am certain that was extended thru all of his life. Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of a wonderful man.  Although we never met dear Harry, I have known him through the years through his loving sister Mary's eyes.  Mary and I worked together for many years and the love for her big brother was always expressed through wonderful stories and fondness.   This much loved kind man will be sadly missed by all.
